Yes, it’s absolutely normal! The algae spicules have a microneedle-like structure that penetrates the skin and stays there for up to 48 hours, delivering nutrients and gradually dissolving over time. This is a sign the peel is working effectively, helping to stimulate blood circulation to the surface. This may create a warm, tingling sensation, which is temporary and part of the process. If needed, you can soothe the skin with aloe vera gel or a cool compress for added comfort

Why choose our peel over traditional 'chemical peels'?

FAQ'S
PEELING PROCESS
Is it normal for my face to feel slightly itchy during the process?
How long does the peeling process last, and on which days?
The peeling process varies from person to person, as it works on a biological level. Peeling typically begins between days 3–5, but some individuals may not start peeling until day 4 or 5, with the process continuing up to day 7.
How long do I need to wait before my next peel?
Between 4 -7 weeks
Can I wear makeup during the peeling process?
Avoid wearing foundation during the peeling process, as it can clog the pores and hinder the skin's recovery. If absolutely necessary, apply only a very light layer to minimise any impact.
How much will my skin peel ?
For first-time users, it varies depending on skin-type although we recommended to massage the peel into the skin for 5 minutes and then let it rest for an additional 5 minutes. For the second treatment, you can build up the time to around 8 minutes of massaging and 8 minutes of resting. The duration also depends on the depth of peel you wish to achieve—longer times generally result in a deeper peel. However, for first-time users, shorter durations are advised to minimise discomfort. Over time, the skin will gradually build tolerance, as with any other peel
APPLICATION
How much water should I add (boiling or cool)?
The water added should be boiling for purity, and you should add 3 tablespoons to one sachet. The solution shouldn't be too thick; it should have a slightly runny texture to allow the spicules to penetrate the skin more effectively than with a drier texture. While applying, ensure the solution is constantly stirred to maintain the correct consistency and achieve an even application.

Can it be used in sensitive areas?
No, it should not
PREPARATION & AFTERCARE
Can I wash my face afterward?
You can wash the area after the peel, but keep it minimal (ideally no) until the peeling is complete. If you do wash, use only lukewarm/cool water and avoid hot water. Keeping the skin as dry as possible will help maximise the peeling results.
Can I go to the gym after application?
We recommend avoiding heavy exercise until the peeling process is complete. Light exercise is fine if needed, but minimising sweat and keeping the skin dry will help maximise the peeling results
How long should I wait before resuming my normal skincare routine?
Resume your normal skincare routine once the peeling is complete ( after 5-7 days) . However, avoid strong retinols and active ingredients for at least 10 days after the treatment. Gentle cleansers can be introduced immediately after the peeling process has finished.
Do I need to apply SPF daily or only after the treatment?
SPF should be applied only after the peeling process has completed, as moisture during peeling can reduce its effectiveness. Once peeling is finished, wear SPF daily for an additional 2 weeks to protect the new, sensitive layer of skin
EXPECTATIONS
How many sessions do I typically need for the best results?
Typically, the best results are seen after 2–3 applications for deeper skin concerns, while some customers with lighter issues may notice improvements after just 2 weeks. Since skin is a living, organic structure constantly changing, it is ideal to perform a peel once every 6–8 weeks to maintain optimal results
SUITABILITY
Is it safe to use during pregnancy?
This product is organic and safe to use during pregnancy; however, it is advisable to avoid using the peel during the last 3 months of pregnancy due to increased skin sensitivity during this period.
Can I use it if I'm on tretinoin or Accutane?
You should postpone tretinoin usage at least 7 days prior to and after doing the algae peel. before doing the Algae Peel due to increased skin sensitivity. For Accutane, it’s recommended to stop usage a minimum of 6 months prior to the algae peel treatment.
TREATMENT COVERAGE
How many sachets do I need for my body?
For application, assume 1 sachet is needed for the face and 1 sachet per area such as each arm. For larger areas, you'll require more: 2 sachets for the back and 2–3 sachets for the legs, depending on coverage and size. This ensures even application and optimal results.
Can I treat multiple areas at the same time?
While it is possible and safe to treat multiple areas at once, it is generally not advisable as it may cause increased discomfort during the process
Is it safe to keep an opened satchet for future use?
It is not advisable to reuse a sachet. A new sachet must be used for each application, as oxidation causes a loss of effectiveness in the product.
